So I am speaking with a local farmer right now and looking into buying this pig. She's a 9 week old Pot bellied pig. It's a smaller breed also but the breed and size of the pig has never been the reason why I'm doing what I'm doing. This is all to gain experience. Repetition allows me to hone my skills. It allows me to run into new problems that I can try and solve. She's gonna cost me only $50 and is already about 25 to 30lbs at 9 weeks, while Poogie was $120 and was only 10lbs at 8 weeks. He ended up being 12lbs at 9 weeks to compare. But it's never been about the cost of things. It's just nice to have documentation of it and records for future reference. Unfortunately I won't be able to do things at a scale where it would be cheaper for me in the long run. For me to start worrying about money I'll have to have property where I can do this more on a bigger scale. For now, I'm learning. This is all I can do for now and it's okay. My goal here is to learn and share my journey with my viewers and help show everyone that YOU can do it too. You don't have to have tons of experience or tons of money to do what I do. All you need is the will and drive to do it. 💪 So it's not set in stone yet. I'm not 100% sure about it yet but I really can't pass up on this opportunity. It's a very very affordable price. Plus the farmer is only like 29 mins away from me. So soon you may see me with another pig. And the content will likely start as members and subscribers only and eventually later be shared with the public. I think that will be best for everyone including me.
