@ai.aesthetic.romantasy: ⚠️SPOILER ALERT FOR ALCHEMISED⚠️ KAINE, HELENA & “DON’T DIE, KAINE” 😭 BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE, this exchange means so much to me 🤍✨ By this point, you can already feel how attached they’ve become. Helena stops at the door because she cannot leave without asking him to stay alive. She knows what he risks, and somewhere along the way, the thought of losing him has become something she cannot simply walk away from 🥹 And his answer is so painfully Kaine 🥲 That bitter humour, the almost arrogant suggestion that death is hardly the worst thing that could happen to him. There is something devastating about how casually he says it - and how Helena understands exactly what he means. She doesn’t argue. “I know.” She knows there are worse things. She still wants him to come back. Then he gives her that little concession: “Only because you asked.” He makes it sound teasing, almost effortless, but to me, that is what makes it so intimate. He lets her concern matter. He gives her an answer she can leave with, while hiding how much her asking means beneath a joke. Neither of them says everything they feel, yet somehow this tiny exchange reveals so much 🥹 They’re in the secret refuge beneath one of the factories at the Outpost, built by Kaine’s grandfather: an extravagantly furnished aristocratic hideaway that becomes their meeting place as the story progresses. The same place where they share what I consider their first REAL kiss, beyond the experiment of their earlier one. Somewhere hidden inside all that horror, these small moments begin to mean everything. A tiny clarification before you ask: YES, his hair is already predominantly silver here, and his eyes have lost their hazel colour. His natural colouring is black hair and hazel eyes; the change happens gradually, for reasons I won’t spoil. In my earlier kiss video, his hair was still mostly black, with emerging silver that was difficult to reproduce precisely. He doesn’t have silver hair throughout the whole story - and I’ll be following those changes in future recreations, too 🤍✨
