This is the false equivalence fallacy on steroids 😂😂 What Ibn Uthaymeen says isn’t that you cannot translate the names of Allah to other languages, or use words to describe Allah that are synonymous to words Allah chose to attribute to himself. Rather, he refers to names and attributes whose meanings aren’t found in the Quran or Sunnah. By this logic, calling Allah the sustainer, the creator, or the most merciful are all prohibited, since Allah didn’t reveal to be any of these in English. Furthermore, this is a very dangerous explanation, since you’re taking away the meaning of the names and attributes of Allah and consider them mere words without meanings or meanings only Allah truly knows.

By this analogy isn’t calling Allah ”The Almighty” then prohibited? Since the english translation hasn’t been established as a name of Allah.
