@wembleyonline: Oxford Street has introduced new restrictions following the pedestrianisation of a major section of London’s famous shopping street. CYCLING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE PEDESTRIAN ZONE. Cyclists must dismount and walk their bicycles through the pedestrianised area. The restrictions apply to the section of Oxford Street between Orchard Street and Great Portland Street. The aim is to improve pedestrian safety, reduce conflicts between cyclists and people walking, and create a safer shopping environment for residents, visitors and tourists. Cyclists wishing to continue riding should use alternative permitted routes around the pedestrian zone. ⚠️ REMINDER: Please respect the pedestrian-only restrictions and follow local signs. 💬 WHAT DO YOU THINK? Should cyclists be allowed to ride through Oxford Street, or should it remain strictly pedestrian-only? 👇 Share your views in the comments! #OxfordStreet #LondonNews #NoCycling #PedestrianZone#Wembleyonline
