@authenticallybree144: Now that I've learned to fully love and accept myself for who I truly am, I would choose to be gay all day, every day. 🌈❤️ There was a time when I might have answered differently, but not anymore. My life would be completely different if I were straight, and I'm so grateful for the person I've become. I was born exactly as I was meant to be, and I wouldn't change a thing. 🏳️🌈❤️ #AuthenticallyBree #LGBTQCommunity #WLW #BornThisWay #GayAndProud
I used to think I would say yes but now no. simply be because there is nothing wrong with me its who am I am and iv been given the opportunity to understand and be the light ✨️

I didn't choose to be gay; I was born that way. So, if I was born straight, I'd be straight. 🙂

As a parent of a gay child……I hope they would choose to be exactly who they are today. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I just wish the world was kinder🏳️🌈

It would have been an easier life, born 1961 here…. Easy paths aren’t always what we’re here for.

through all the struggles the hate the heart breaks. I could never imagine a life where my husband my best friend and my truth would not be.

My mom asked me this same question. I told her I would want to be straight. And I think I stand by that answer. Life would be so much easier. I wouldn’t have learned to second guess every movement, every sound of my voice growing up. I wouldn’t have been scared to accept myself for 22 years of my life. I’m out and proud now, but that took a lot of healing from self hatred and wishing I was dead along the way that straight people don’t have to go through. While I’m grateful to be part of a community that celebrates life, art, hope, and individualism, I’ll never forget how hard it was to get here. Do I wish I didn’t have to go through the bullying and self hatred? Absolutely.

Nope. That would mean that I wouldn’t have had the 27 years with my husband. Wouldn’t give him up for anything 🥰
