@kim.hiked.it: I was craving some West Virginia, so I made a quick 24-hr easy adventure itinerary that worked out so well! We visited Pipestem Resort State Park as a family a few years ago and did the inflatable park (highly recommend!) and rode the aerial tram. I had been wanting to check out the new tram, so I ended up planning a whole adventure around it. 😊 There were no major hikes—just a chill trip to soak in the fall colors and that West Virginia beauty. There’s just something about West Virginia…❤️ Here’s everything I fit in 24-hrs : 🥾Hike the Island in the Sky trail at Babcock State Park (0.8 mi, moderate with rocky terrain) ✅ Almost Heaven swing at Bluestone Lake 🛌 Check in McKeever Lodge at Pipestem Resort State Park ⛰️ Aerial Tramway at Canyon Rim Center. This is seasonal but should still be operating through November depending on weather. Check schedule before visiting! Cabins seat 6 and are ADA-accessible. Dogs permitted. 🌅 Bolar Observation Tower (0.7 mi hike on an uphill paved path) 💦Waterfalls: Pipestem Falls—roadside Brush Creek Falls—1.1 mi out and back hike Camp Creek State Park: Campbell Falls, Mash Fork Falls—both are easily accessible. 🎢Bonus adventure: A Ride on West Virginia’s only mountain coaster @Brush Creek Holl’r Mtn Coaster (This was SO much fun!!) This was such a fun little trip to WV—I can’t wait to go back for more! 😍 #westvirginia #pipestem
