@carolinemerrill2010: 🎀 CALLING ALL BREASTIES! I NEED YOUR HELP! 🎀 For those of you who were HER2+ and ER+ and are taking or have taken Anastrozole… HOW ARE YOU HANDLING THE BONE PAIN?! 😭 I am seriously at my breaking point. The bone pain is so intense that I was up and down ALL night last night, unable to get comfortable or find relief. I've struggled with this pain since starting Anastrozole, and I honestly cannot take much more. 💗 My question is: If you switched from Anastrozole to a different aromatase inhibitor, what did you switch to? Did the bone pain improve? Did you feel better? I know everyone's experience is different, but I desperately need to hear from women who have been through this. I'm grateful to be cancer-free, but I want to be able to LIVE my life without being in constant pain. 💔 Please share your experiences! #breastcancer #anastrozole #cancerjourney #cancersucks #cancerawareness
I am on Exemestane. It is better than the others I have tried.

I took Letrozole for 6 months the bone pain was horrible. Oncologist switched me to Anastrozole and my blood pressure was out of control. We meet Monday morning to see what to do next. I have lobular triple positive. Everyone thinks I am good because I rang the bell and my hair is growing. If they only knew. 💪🏻

I was on exemastane until 3 days ago. Some foot pain until walking. I stopped it because I started having vertigo, dizziness & weakness. My bedroom became like a Steven King movie. The bed seemed to tilt and go up in the air with spinning sensation. Other bizarre happenings. Looked it up and says it can happen but supposedly in sm. Percentage of people. Still weak and somewhat dizzy; but vertigo stopped. Stephen King has left the building.

Sooo, I’m curious because I’m sure this will be my next step of treatment…48 yo stage 4 metastatic with 1 liver met, triple positive and just finished round 10. Did you experience bone/joint pain after about round 5 of chemo/immunotherapy and are the hormone blockers worse than that?
