@missfamous18: 🏴‍☠️📚 Book Review: The Bone Debt by Leah Mara @Leah Mara ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Stars! A poisoner, a pirate, a marriage neither of them wants, and a treasure hunt full of danger? This one definitely had my attention! 🖤 Elayna Velore has no interest in being anyone’s wife, so when she’s forced into marriage, she chooses a pirate who owes her his life. Three years later, she’s busy helping women escape their terrible husbands when one of her jobs puts her on a pirate lord’s kill list. Suddenly, her husband, Captain Crimson Dyre, is back with a deal that sends them on a dangerous adventure together. I really enjoyed the premise of this one! Elayna is the kind of heroine I love—independent, clever, and not afraid to stand up for herself. And then there’s Crimson, with his pirate charm and that complicated history between them. Their unwanted marriage, forced proximity, and growing magical bond make for such an interesting dynamic. Add in the tension of sharing a ship and a bed when neither of them wants to admit what’s happening between them, and you have plenty to keep things entertaining! 👀 I also loved the combination of fantasy, adventure, pirates, magic, and romance. It isn’t just about two people figuring out their feelings; there’s a dangerous treasure hunt, secrets, and plenty at stake for the characters and their crew. I’m giving this one 4 stars! ⭐️ It was an entertaining read with a fun fantasy-romance setup, strong characters, and a relationship that kept me curious. I especially enjoyed the idea of two people who never wanted this marriage having to figure out whether there’s something worth fighting for after all. 💬 Question: Would you rather be married to a charming pirate you can’t stand or set sail on a dangerous treasure hunt with them? 😂🏴‍☠️ #TheBoneDebt #LeahMara #BookReview #Bookstagram #BookTok
