Yep all this is exactly right and just wanted to add on a little extra points: 1. Falun Gong is a Taoist cult specifically, and basically believes that their version of Taichi with breathing/meditative exercises can grow the "golden core" which gives you superpowers (wuxia fans will recognise this terminology). This is an alleged organ that can be grown in the lower back. Which leads to... 2. They claimed that modern medicine was poisoning them and that the CN gov was harvesting not normal organs but this mythical GOLDEN CORE. Along the line this ballooned into alleged organ harvesting conspiracies. Adding this because it gives perspective on how ridiculous their claims are. also of course they hold a lot of typical rw beliefs such as being anti-race mixing etc etc

I went in 2021 with my older sister, we thought it was just going to be a nice traditional performance. Oh my god it was way more than that, first of all “No photos no cameras” signs EVERYWHERE. A ton of anti-science and anti-china propaganda, also they did an act dedicated to how china organ harvested their group members. At there was one act that was just a straight up script saying over and over to turn away from science and china and turn to religion. We left perplexed
