0. The subway and the bus should be free, as they make NYC possible. The MTA is a vital service, and they’re already subsidized. Might as well save on the cost of administrating the charges and just make them free!

They fully locked the door at 110th on the 2/3. It’s a huge fire hazard. They only have the rotating gates. I could barely fit through the gate with 3 big tote bags after running errands and I’m thin

It creates bottle necks especially during rush hour people can’t exit using the exit door so there’s no way for people to enter the turnstile . People are getting into arguments about who has the turnstile

I said this in another post. They have to have accounted for the potential loss of human life caused by the 10 sec delay doors in their operating cost accounting... and also it's also prob built into their insurance..yanno, just like 9/- *gets yanked off stage*

If your train is right there & the doors are about to close the MTA would rather you miss the train so you can't afford to pay them then be able to jump the turnstile and pay next time you get on because you got to work on time and didn't get written up and fired.
