Thank you, Mum. People always say that a mother’s love is the greatest love in the world. After going through this journey, I truly understand the meaning behind those words. To accompany me to Melbourne for my surgery and rehabilitation, you put aside your own commitments and came with me through every challenge, just hoping that I could focus on my recovery and heal well. On the day of my surgery, you were even more nervous than I was. While I was in the operating theatre, you quietly waited outside for three long hours, just hoping that everything would be alright. The moment I woke up, you came straight to my room, only wanting to make sure that I was safe and okay. After surgery, when I couldn’t do things on my own, whether it was getting up, eating, showering, or handling the little things in daily life, you were always there for me without a single complaint. Every day, you accompanied me through my rehabilitation, prepared my meals, took care of my needs, and supported me in every way possible — all because you wanted me to recover stronger and better. Thank you for your unconditional love, your endless sacrifices, and for quietly protecting and supporting me throughout this journey. I will continue to work hard in my rehabilitation and fight my way back to the court. I hope to make you proud and never take your love and support for granted. I love you, Mum. ❤️ @Jane Toh
