I think I finally understand why it hurts so much to see Stray Kids eventually leave for military service it's not just about not being able to see them together for a while or missing their content their performances and the little things they've become part of our everyday lives it's the realization that the time we've spent with them is slowly moving forward whether we're ready for it or not because they're so much more than just eight people whose music I listen to they're my home they're the people I think about when I've had a bad day the comfort I turn to when I'm not feeling okay and the little bit of happiness I look for when everything feels overwhelming sometimes without even realizing it they've become part of the reason I get through difficult days just knowing they're there seeing them laugh hearing their voices or watching them be themselves makes things feel a little lighter we've watched them grow achieve their dreams overcome so much and build something so special together and now the thought of having to watch them go their separate ways even temporarily hurts in a way that's difficult to explain I know it's a part of life and I know they'll come back but I think what hurts the most is knowing that we'll have to get used to a little less of them for a while no more seeing all eight of them together as often no more knowing that they're all just one update away from making our day maybe it's selfish but a part of me wishes time would slow down I wish we could keep this chapter a little longer just the eight of them doing what they love together we'll wait.

I don't think they knew when for sure. but everyone knew it was coming. LeeKnow is pretty adamant about not lying and he said at a concert after this aired that he didn't know when it would be. but we all knew it was coming, it's inevitable and I greatly appreciate them speaking on it first rather than just letting it happen under the assumption we would just accept it.

I can imagine bangchan feels so bad since he’s the oldest but he doesn’t have to do it unlike leeknow. I’m sure he feels like he’s letting him down in some way considering they’re the same age but he won’t go through it with him. Military is intense but I’m curious which branch he chose.
