OMGGGG i recognized these apartments immediately, my first couple of weeks living there I walked out to a homeless man sleeping on my patio around 1 am. We both scared the fuck out of eachother😭😭

This street is so active! About 4 weeks ago I had the creepiest experience. If these are the apts, I live on the street and had my car parked on the street. It was about 9.30p and I needed to pack my car and I had left my keys inside it. I go out, get them, cross the street to head back and then this white, older (50s) asks me for help…I couldn’t really hear him but he said he needed help for gas and was hurt so he couldn’t walk any closer. I said I’ll try my best and went back in and idk why but I got this really weird feeling. I got some change but pretended I stayed in for about 15 mins. I really needed to pack with some boxes my car cause I had to head out 5am next day and so I think surely this man hasn’t waited this long, so I head out with my dolly and boxes (yes huge delivery!) and I saw him across the street and my instinct immediately called my mom on speaker , usually my mom is on the phone with my auntie and she doesn’t answer so I’m praying she answers and sure she does on the first ring! I immediately tell her in Spanish to just follow my lead and she does and I keep talking to her as I walk over to my car (this man was about a car away) and he asks me again and I tell him “here u go!” as I’m watching my back and surroundings and heading back to my car. Then he says he speaks Spanish blah blah but as he’s speaking I notice this guy isn’t “homeless” per se and looks alright, he has glasses (not shades) on and a cap. He shows me his hurt ankle but I don’t see anything….and so I ask him “do you have anyone u can call?” He says no he’s all alone…and I tell him there’s really no one around here it’s a very alone street and to try to walk to chevron off Melrose. He insists he’s hurt. So then I ask him do u have insurance? To call road side? Again he says no but the next thing he said raised my hair on my neck. He says “my car is in my garage anyways” and I swear he thought I wouldn’t catch that because he tried to switch the topic and I say “oh it’s in the garage” and he’s like yeah we just yk live up here…I listen to too many murder podcast and watch a lot of dateline and I stopped asking, said gn, packed my car, went home & locked the doors
