That’s my Mayor! While I disagree with him on many issues, I really appreciate his voice and leadership in Oklahoma City. To my other Oklahomans, I know many of us woke up very disappointed, but I believe we put down the ground work to flip our state blue in the near future. Please don’t stop, this is going to take some grit and determination.

Democrat in Oklahoma. CD5 was 3,000 votes from the Democrat winning. The Dem gubernatorial candidate was single digits away from winning. Winds are changing.

I left the republican party when they chose Trump. Read my bible for the first time and followed Jesus right out of the church. I started voting democratic because for me they align to what Jesus's words. The Republicans use god to cover their sins more then help people and Jesus sent me here to be a helper.

Rural people in Oklahoma don't know anything but propaganda. They really need an influx of education on other religions and cultures. The Republican party and their propaganda is keeping them scared. They are scared of Islam, immigrants, trans people and anyone who's lives are different than theirs. They are so uneducated they believe everything they are being told. The propaganda and rhetoric is all they know. Then they are inundated with these awful campaign ad videos that reinforce the propaganda and get them fired up to "protect themselves" from what is being told is "dangerous." I imagine the other red states are likely the same. We need to stop this and ensure they have an honest and realistic information that these people just live differently than them and they are not danger to them or their lives. They really think they are out to get them and their families. It's crazy this has happened and it's so wrong. They really don't know any better. It's really sad actually. They need education and exposure.
