Saddest song to sing to a foster baby knowing how temporary they are in your life. I still dream of holding so many of them in my arms and I cry over the new ones thinking of all the babes I’ve sung it to over the years

When we got our first placement (foster mom here!) my dad was over within 2 days!!! He was obsessed with him! We have since adopted that chubby 5 month old and life feels full

Honestly, I appreciate your view of foster care. It is traumatic to the children. That is nice to see that reflected.

Hope we get to see them sad over giving the child back to his mum but also proud of the mum for being able to have her child with her now; then missing the child for a bit but then fostering a new one and also being just as loving to that one (also they could stand up against Susan more with the next one—maybe if the child is older and would understand her disregard of the situation or something)
