@science.nature: One father's determination turned into an opportunity for hundreds of lives. ❤️ When John D’Eri saw how difficult it was for his autistic son Andrew to find meaningful employment, he decided not to wait for someone else to create an opportunity. Along with his son Thomas, he helped establish Rising Tide Car Wash in Florida in 2013. Their mission was simple but powerful: create a workplace where autistic adults could earn a living, develop valuable skills, build confidence, and experience independence. What started as one family's dream has grown into three locations employing more than 90 adults on the autism spectrum. Even more inspiring, over 250 former employees have moved on to find jobs elsewhere. This is more than a car wash. It's a reminder that everyone deserves a chance to work, grow, and succeed. One family's love created opportunities for hundreds. 🥹💙
