@boxingactive: Vasiliy Lomachenko has unfinished business in boxing. The three-division world champion and two-time Olympic gold medallist has ended his retirement and signed a multi-year co-promotional agreement with Top Rank through his new company, Loma Power Promotions. He will return in early 2027 at super-featherweight, targeting the division's biggest fights and the undisputed title that has so far eluded him. Lomachenko, 18-3 (12 KOs), announced his retirement in June 2025, just over a year after stopping George Kambosos Jr. to win the IBF lightweight title. Top Rank has promoted the Ukrainian since he turned professional in 2013. Lomachenko said: “God works in mysterious ways. I thought I would never step back into the ring again as a boxer. But our Lord Jesus Christ had other plans for me. I’m happy to be living this boxing life once again. I’m grateful to everyone who is once again part of this journey. “Special respect and gratitude to Egis, who, despite my firm belief that my boxing career was over, never stopped believing that we would step into the ring again. He put in a tremendous amount of work and effort to get us back in the race.”
