And she says she is not sure she wants Kim to know it. On the Nov. 5 episode of The Kardashians, Jenner, 70, goes with Kim Kardashian, 46, to a doctor’s appointment. Kim is being treated for esophagitis. She says they are there to see if it has “gotten worse or better with the medication.” The doctor explains they are checking for any “pre-cancerous condition.” Kim has said before that this worries her. Her father, Robert Kardashian, d*ed of esophageal cancer in 2003 at age 59. In the episode, Kim says her father had GERD. Her doctor says GERD is the most common cause of esophageal cancer. Kim says she is hopeful. She explains that her doctors may tell her the irregularities remain and part of her esophagus must be removed. Or they may say the medication worked. “Obviously, I don’t want surgery, but I’ll do whatever’s necessary,” she says. For Jenner, it is hard to watch. She notes that Robert d*ed just eight weeks after his diagnosis. “So of course I’m scared. I don’t want to tell her I’m scared, but it’s very worrisome,” she says. “We just pray for the best.” A preview of the next episode shows Kim’s doctor telling her she has a hiatal hernia. “My dad had that,” she says.
