My autistic child lies sometimes but he’s terrible at it. I asked him who broke the curtains (at home- it was him. I saw him do it) and he said it was his BCBA at school. He’s minimally verbal but he NAMED NAMES 😂

I’m also autistic and I rarely lie, I feel bad doing it, even if I say something untrue by accident because I forgot. It’s shocking to me that some people just do it casually like all the time for trivial things or that some people can do it so well that you can’t even tell.
