We had serious fires in our area. Couldn’t even see the sun the smoke was so bad. School was canceled. My work literally told me to leave my 5 year old son alone at home all day. Wtf

Don't forget no student is allowed to stay after school so your child needs to go home on the bus and return 1 hour later for practice. I happen to work 35 minutes away from my child's school and it is just me with 2 children so I understand 🫶🏼

Except I was riding the bus home alone since kindergarten. Getting myself an after school snack and waiting for them to come home. My mom would stop and get herself dinner before coming home and I would get Mac n cheese when she got home and made a big batch that was my dinner for the week.... but I'm stressed trying to learn how not to be like her! Ugh.
