I know often these are not “official” school sanctioned trips but those chaperones failed her. I have taken students on similar trips and our rule was no less than 3 out alone, absolutely no getting totally inebriated, and we checked rooms at a certain time.

they def did all of that for reasons u mentioned. aruba was always seemingly safe and wanted to not have the bad press. the problem was the covering for the kids who were involved. didn’t watch doc but at the time they were always the main suspects

Aruba was the friendliest Islands I’ve been to. I was literally almost washed away to sea on my kayak. Very strong winds and water . Stay safe
