@veniceboysca: These are more than faces in a photograph. They're people whose names and lives became part of a chapter in Venice Beach history. The Venice gang injunction affected an entire community. And here's something important to remember: not everyone placed on that injunction was even a gang member. Some people found themselves named, labeled, and restricted simply because of who they knew, where they lived, or the associations authorities attributed to them. I remember those days firsthand. These images bring back memories of a time that shaped neighborhoods, friendships, families, and generations. Behind every face is a story. Behind every name is a life that continued long after the headlines faded. History isn't always comfortable, but it deserves to be documented. You can't tell the story of Venice without telling this part of it. Venice Raised. Venice Remembered. The story deserves to be told. #VeniceBeach #VeniceHistory #GangInjunction #VeniceRaised #Oakwood@Venice Boys Culture @VeniceBoys.Snaps @hugo moreno
