DON’T!!! My comic con cat sold for 1200 this summer after 12 years. Comic cons ARE exclusives and when LPS die down again they will increase in value for actual collectors not just LPS collectors.

Open them. As long as you keep the pet in good condition it won’t decrease the value by much.

Always open the box 🥰 Life is too short for “Maybe one day they’ll be worth…” Whatever amount it is won’t feel as good as opening the box. Plus, collectors will buy them open too.

Ugh let him open them. I remember when I collected briar horses and funko pops (I started a Hamilton collection and almost have it finished) I would get mad when my mom would say “if you open it, it will decrease in value!” Good thing in a CGRI (coding, gaming, robotics, innovations) class I was taught how to put stuff in the box again making it look like brand new and like it wasn’t touched

Open them but keep the box, if he ever were to sell them they’d go up for more value with the box
