I have a 167fmm-m engine that doesnt go above 6500 rpm stock main jet was 102 went straight to a 112 same thing only diference was that it had more power it at 6k rpm

If starting from scratch with mikuni carb for Yamaha xt125x with no setting what best rule of thumb to start with as idle screw on side and pilot on bottom of float bowl separate from housing . iv set it with idle from unseated idle screw 2 full turns and pilot set 1/1.4 turns ?

I have a pz19 that only has an idle screw, no air or fuel screw, it’s brand new unused so unknown if it works but just curious, is it fine that it’s only got an idle screw? I have used carbs with only an idle screw and worked fine but the pz19 is a carb I have no experience on yet

Bike decelerates and gets stuck on the mid range minimum rpm until I blip and then it lowers to idle normally
