I like Ben Wang genuinely he’s a great actor and I feel like he has a lot of untapped range with that being said he shouldn’t be iceman he doesn’t give off the vibes of iceman like Shawn Ashmore did but I’m willing to give him a chance but I’m honestly not a fan of this casting

My hang up with Wang as Iceman is that he’s near-30 compared to the rest of the core X-Men’s early 20’s — which on the surface isn’t that big of a deal but 10 years? 20 years later? Idk I feel like I’d personally rather have someone who’s younger than the others - but I’m not in charge of casting lmao

They could actually play with him being of asian descent but his name sounds so american. Maybe his family changed it so they would “fit” better, like shang-chi and katie did.
