In JA we have a think called ninth night or nine night which is basically that we get to grieve etc. then on the ninth night we do an open casket viewing and play music to celebrate AND then a few days after that we have the funeral. We all have diff traditions when it comes to putting someone to rest. So it makes sense to me

This is truly painful. I have so much lent up pain at the loss of Javits and there’s no where for it to go because he just wasn’t supposed to die!! Rest in peace Javits Frimpong. Time may past to the world, but Javits family have to relive that day over and over again. I don’t wish death of a family let alone a close one, ON ANYONE!! It truly troubles the soul, and it never compensates itself for something good. God, may revenge locate his enemies speedily

From my understanding with grief, western cultures do everything differently and personally I think that they do it wrong because it ends up buried and carried in causing other issues we rushed through stuff and it’s not for the good of anybody.
