i always say i don’t think anybody actually knows what sharia is. it’s not even called sharia law. that’s just to scare you. it’s literally just the 10 commandments of islam except it’s 5 “protections.” Dignity, intellect, faith, life and property. and intellect says respect the difference of opinion. it’s literally against their religion to force others to be muslim

My son converted to Islam 9 years ago and his fiance is Palestinian American. Not once has either one tried to convert me, and she doesn’t wear a hijab. The only time they even go in depth about their religion is when I ask.

I am a muslim and live in a 100% muslim country and no one forced me to wear hijab. I wore it because i wanted to. My parents didnt force me or anyone else forced me. There are lots of non hijabi girls living here too and no ones forcing them.

As a Muslim, I appreciate you speaking up against Islamophobia. Muslims being elected does not mean anyone is going to impose Islam on others. Sharia is not synonymous with oppression, and Islam should not be judged by stereotypes or the actions of certain governments. People deserve the same rights, dignity, and respect regardless of their religion. Thank you for challenging the hypocrisy and double standards.
