I live in upstate S.C. And have followed this from the beginning. Since the beginning I’ve thought he didn’t shoot them, and I still believe that. He’s a lot of things (liar, their, addict, etc.) but I don’t think he’d ever murder his family. ESP Paul. He faithfully defended that kid through a lot of bad stuff and that family is about as close as you can come. They did everything together and protect each other at all costs. He’s a convenient target for SLED and it’s a big stripe on the shoulder of Alan Wilson (Atty Gen at the time, now Governor). My best guess is it was someone coming after Paul from something he’d done in the past, or someone looking for Alex to collect a debt. Either way, I think he just missed being the 3rd victim.
