Don’t you think someone can hold an opinion based on their faith without being punished for what they believe? I personally believe that only women should be able to decide about their own lives, health, and children, and that no one else has the right to dictate what is right or wrong for them. At the same time, I acknowledge that people guided by faith or religion have a right to express their own views on abortion, as it is a complex moral issue. While I strongly agree that men shouldn't be the ones deciding this, I also believe people have a right to stay true to their beliefs-even when those views aren't popular or progressive. Calling women who choose to have an abortion “murderers” is an exaggeration, but I recognize that for others, it poses a profound moral dilemma. For many Christians, there is no middle ground, as Church teaching is explicit. Determining someone else's right to life is an exceptionally difficult issue. That said, I do not take Perkz’s side- I would consistently prioritize the mother's life over the child's for numerous reasons-but I still don't believe anyone should be punished simply for their beliefs.

Sjokz, you just do what is most important to you. If that's Worlds for now, then it's Worlds, and that shouldn't have to change just because others want it to be something else. The fights and disagreements will always be there, and they will probably never truly end. But everyone should understand that you can't always be the one fighting every battle. Sometimes, there are simply other things that need to be done. People have jobs to do, responsibilities to take care of, and most importantly, their own lives to live. That's what matters the most. And if we ever reach a point where those things are no longer considered "important enough", and people start backing down on these principles just to satisfy others, things can get very, very bad, very quickly. And nobody wants that. We need you on our stages, in our interviews, and in our community. Everyone wants you here, and we're genuinely so happy to have you with us. That's all that should matter for now. Much love <3
