My mom works at Rock Center and she gets to climb to the top of the tree before they light it! She can’t wait to do it this year! 🎄❤️

This year's tree comes from West Edmeston in Chenango County, NY. It is 76 feet tall and 50 feet wide, and estimated to weigh 11 tons.

Is this not one of the things that makes us Americans? Why are we slowly losing our Christian beliefs, our patriotism and our pride in America?

That’s a shame to cut down a beautiful tree like that! They should have a really big life like fake tree at Rockefeller center

I don’t believe they get paid. I could be wrong. I believe that the family who “donated” the tree get to go on December 2nd to watch the lighting of the tree. I’m pretty sure they get to sit in a VP box.

This might be dumb but why not grow a tree for this instead of cutting one down every year?
