Yes to all of these! Club soda/lime is my always my go to. I hate that it’s like this for women, but we’ll always be judged 100x harder at these parties. Ugh 😭 Oh and saying you’ve got an early call in the morning to prep is a perfect excuse to leave early too!

We do our holiday at lunch time during the week. It’s nice because we all get an extra long lunch, there’s no alcohol involved since it’s lunch, and we go somewhere that has their own dress code so the rules are clear and not determined by us.

Having been sober for 2.5 years, it’s so crazy how many times people try to have drinking related events. Even random “end of summer” party that’s at 3pm will have cocktails. I always just get a cup of water and nobody knows the difference
