I dread it every single year and it’s not just 1 night it’s for the whole week. They get sold to young kids too, should only be okay for proper displays! The poor wildlife too💔

I know your child is trying to comfort your dog but make sure that she doesn’t get bitten, as dogs can sometimes lash out when in stressful situations and her cuddling your dog could end up with her getting injured x

Totally agree with u they need to keep it to shows only that last 10 mins we know when it’s happening etc.! My big girl not to bad but my little staffy girl is petrified

You can start playing calming music every night for a week or so leading up to bonfire night or a time yk there’s gonna be fireworks and increase the volume gradually. I find it really helps to take their mind off the fireworks, and playing music for a week before hand gets them used to the noise of the music so it’s not a shock on the night of the fireworks! Fireworks are horrible and I’m so sorry your dog is stressed. Bless her she’s beautiful💕💕

What helped us the most is playing fireworks on the telly a few times a week till they settled down lots of treats and lots of reassurance that everything is okay poor baby 🥰

Please please get him sedating or calming drops or ear defenders! And put the tv on loud and wrap them in a blanket, we do that with my dog and she rlly feels so much better
