It was the Captain Jeff who made the decision to fly into a thunderstorm. Hearing her to tell him to look out the window indicates he did not assess the situation correctly. She probably realised that. Then he starts freakin praying out load while she is forced to do the mayday call. The captain sounds like he cut corners and she realised it. Hope the truth comes out

She was so courageous. I just worry about the power struggle and a cockpit with a young girl and a 55 old man. That’s what I would worry about like she can’t express if she saw the storm cell but was too nervous to speak up

We must keep in mind that qualification is key. In wwii, fighter pilots of her age and younger were flying high performance aircraft in aerial combat.
