@unidovivo: BIGGER POLICE AND SECRET POLICE PRESENCE. MORE DANGEROUS STREETS. HIGH STAKES SHOPPING. Are you still under the impression you have rights? Another step towards an uncontrollable police state in Meridian, Mississippi. The Meridian Police Department officially opened its new precinct at Gateway Exchange today, this brings police closer to the public as they try to preform everyday errands such as shopping or simply just driving around the area. “We want people to feel safe wherever they are in our city. Having our officers closer to the businesses and people they serve is an important part of making that happen,” said Mayor Percy Bland. Gateway Exchange owner Janet Kelly welcomed the partnership. A stronger police presence. Less freedom. Less comfortability. And another useless investment in the safety of our community. At least help people sometimes. #meridian
