Why we’ve been using Fog-X anti-fog inserts instead of spit, shampoo, soap, etc. for the past 8 months: 1. We love that unlike soap or spit, which you need to apply before every dive, you only have to install the anti-fog film once. Just wet it before your dive and you’re good to go! 2. The anti-fog effect won’t wash away when you remove and replace your mask. Remember your mask-clearing skill during your Open Water course? Every time you flooded and cleared your mask, it probably got a little foggier. That’s because spit and soap get washed away, reducing their effectiveness. With the anti-fog film, this isn’t an issue since it stays inside your mask. It’s also great to have one installed in your backup mask! 3. No more anti-fog sprays, baby shampoo, soap or other chemicals that eventually wash into the ocean and can harm coral reefs.
