@cliffbuell: On November 3, 2026, voters across America went to the polls to choose their leaders. Among the winners were several openly transgender candidates who won seats in state and local government. These victories have brought new attention to the growing debate over gender identity and the direction of American politics. Some of these candidates will be among the first openly transgender people to serve in their state legislatures. Their wins show how much views on gender have changed in parts of the country. As Christians, we are called to love our neighbors, pray for our leaders, and remain faithful to God’s Word. Scripture teaches that God created mankind male and female. That truth remains the same no matter who wins an election or what society chooses to accept. Every elected leader deserves to be treated with dignity and held accountable for their actions in office. America is moving further away from biblical teaching on sex and gender. Christians should stand firm in the truth, speak with courage, and refuse to let political pressure change their convictions.
