@eatinprinceton: So hard to leave D’Angelo’s out of my last sandwich reel! That roundup was all about sandwiches under $10, but these deserve their own moment. D’Angelo is a family-run Italian market bringing its Sicilian roots to downtown Princeton, with imported Italian groceries, homemade mozzarella, pizza, pastries, and your favorite prepared Italian meals. I’m particularly in love wit their sandwiches. Today, we tried: 🌯 Joe D. Special in a wrap, with grilled chicken instead of fried. Prosciutto, sautéed broccoli rabe, and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano. 🥖 D’Angelo Signature on a hero. Prosciutto, sweet soppressata, sweet capicollo, pepper ham, homemade mozzarella, lettuce, roasted peppers, and balsamic glaze. Look at that bread.
