It definitely is growing! Just make sure you retain that length that’s what really matters, if your roots are loose, that’s new growth, but make sure you maintain that new growth by keeping up with trims and keep your roots/ends moisturized! If it gets too frizzy or start to pull, redo the braids so avoid fairy knots and split ends! Keep it up babes you’re doing good 🤍

Usually I look at a braid to see if hair strands are sticking out of it. Usually that’s how I see new growth.
