Bullish signal • Shooting star (after a rise): buyers pushed it up, sellers slammed it back down. Bearish signal • Doji: opens and closes at almost the same price. Indecision • Bullish / bearish engulfing: a big candle swallows the one before it • Long green after a big run: can be the last push • Spinning top: small body, long wicks.
