@thefunnymomma: Moment of truth… Not to toot my own horn, but TOOT TOOT! Now, was my technique perfect? Absolutely not. Could I have left those rollers in a little longer? Probably. But for my FIRST DIY roller set?! Baby, I ate! 💅🏽 I’m a whiz with a curling iron, but my all-time favorite one broke, so I was going to try to shape the curls with my flat iron instead. Well, that was taking entirely too long, and I was TIRED! So I just hit it with the blow dryer enough to loosen the curls because I was NOT trying to give Shirley Temple. Then I smoothed out my roots with the flat iron and called it a night. But here’s where the real magic happened! I wrapped my hair the way I normally do at night, which helped the curls fall exactly how I wanted them. And the best part? I didn’t even have to touch my hair the next morning for our Christmas photos! I’ll have to show y’all how I wrap my hair at night because I swear that makes all the difference! So yeah, my technique could use some work, but I fear I’ve discovered a new talent. 💅🏽😂
