Not your mothers is a great brand for styling products. I use shea moisture for shampoo and conditioner, but my favorite product is the curlsmith air dry cream!!

My halfsister’s mom got some beautiful curls from Chemo too but she eventually got her original hairpattern back. Just like you she has pinstraight hair.

tshirts instead of a towel to dry your head and diffuser will be your best friend!! i’m so excited for you 🥹🫶 it can be a long process but ira so worth it!! oh also!! there’s the blueberry curl cream at target that is SO GOOD 🥰

I love my denman brush! When I had short hair, I brushed it all forward with my head down and scrunched. When it’s longer, it makes more sense to section and then brush through. But I recommend the first method!

DO NOT brush your hair dry. It can cause breakage. You can take out rows from the denman. I took out every other row. I also style my hair in the shower. When you style make sure your hair is super wet. You’re supposed to use tension to style your hair w those brushes btw. Like when you’re curling ribbon with scissors.
