@peylane: first christmas bake of the season 🌲❣️🦌 ingredients: 1 ½ cups granulated sugar 1 cup salted butter (melted and cooled) 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 egg + 1 egg yolk 2 tbsp whole milk 3 cups ap flour 1 tbsp cornstarch 1 tsp baking soda ½ tsp baking powder ½ tsp salt green food dye 1/2 cup granulated sugar for rolling cookies heart sprinkles instructions: 1. mix the sugar, melted butter, and vanilla until combined 2. add the egg and milk and mix until smooth 3. slowly add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix until just combined 4. add the green food dye (make it darker since they lighten while baking) 5. cover and chill the dough for 1 hour 6. scoop about 4 tbsp (70g) of dough per cookie and roll each ball in sugar (makes about 12) 7. space 3 inches apart and bake at 350°F for 12-14 minutes 8. press one heart sprinkle into each cookie right out of the oven 9. cool on the pan for 15 minutes, then enjoy! #grinch #christmas #christmasbaking #christmascookies #asmrbaking
