@nourishingapothecary: “I’ve already had my egg collection. Is it too late to work with you?” This is a question I get asked often, and the answer is no. We can support your health at different stages of IVF. What we focus on changes depending on where you are. Before egg collection We look at both partners’ nutrition, health history, relevant blood tests, sleep and lifestyle. We review supplements, address identified nutritional gaps and help you prepare alongside your fertility specialist. If you have time before treatment, it can be useful to start early. But you don’t need to delay IVF to complete a fixed preparation period. Timing should be discussed with your specialist. Once you have frozen embryos We can’t change the eggs or sperm that created those embryos. Our focus shifts to your current health, nutrition and wellbeing as you prepare for transfer. Your fertility clinic manages your transfer protocol, uterine assessment and prescribed medications. Any supplements or herbal medicines need to be reviewed for compatibility with that plan. During the two-week wait Support can mean helping you maintain regular meals, manage the uncertainty and avoid adding more supplements simply because you feel you should be doing something. You don’t have to get everything “perfect” for a transfer to work. During pregnancy Your needs change again. We review nutrition and supplement suitability alongside your maternity team, with referrals where needed. Supporting your health matters, but it cannot guarantee implantation, prevent miscarriage or promise that you’ll only need one IVF cycle. If you’d like to understand what support could look like at your stage, book a free discovery call with Mel or Chloe at Nourishing Apothecary. Liverpool, Sydney, and online Australia-wide via Zoom. nourishingapothecary.com #IVFSupport #IVFJourney #FrozenEmbryoTransfer #PreconceptionHealth #NourishingApothecary
