'Innaa lillaahi wa 'innaa 'ilayhi raaji'oon, Allaahumma'-jurni fee museebatee wa 'akhliflee khayran minhaa. “We are from Allah and unto Him we return.
'To Allah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allah, recompense them for their affliction and replace it for them with something better much better '
The giant Dubai chocolate cookies are another dessert I’ve been seeing quite a bit, and some of them look absolutely massive. They’re usually filled with that pistachio cream and crispy kunafa mixture, so when you break one open there’s loads of filling in the middle. I can imagine them being quite rich, especially with the chocolate and pistachio together, but that’s probably what makes them so tempting. I’d definitely want to try one while it’s still a little warm so the middle is soft. Some places seem to make them absolutely huge as well, so I doubt you’d need more than one. I do think the Dubai chocolate craze has made people come up with some really interesting desserts, even if some of them are a bit over the top.
