My Kids Took These to School… And EVERYONE Wanted the Recipe! 😱 🥪 Crispy Cheese and Sausage Bread Pockets! 🧀🔥 📝 Ingredients * 6 slices of sandwich bread * 100 g cheese * 100 g sausage * 2 tbsp sour cream * 2 eggs * 50 ml milk * Salt to taste * About 100 g breadcrumbs * Vegetable oil for frying 👩‍🍳 Instructions 1. Prepare the bread. Take 6 slices of sandwich bread and cut off the crusts. Using a rolling pin, roll each slice into a thin, flat layer so the bread becomes soft and easy to fold. 2. Prepare the filling. Grate the cheese using a coarse grater. Finely dice or grate the sausage. Place both in a bowl, add 2 tablespoons of sour cream, and mix everything together until well combined. 3. Prepare the egg mixture. In a separate bowl, crack 2 eggs, add 50 ml of milk and a little salt. Whisk everything together with a fork until smooth. 4. Assemble the bread pockets. Place some filling on one half of each bread slice, leaving the edges clear. Brush the edges with the egg mixture, fold the bread in half to form a triangle, and press the edges firmly together with your fingers to seal the filling inside. 5. Coat the pockets. Dip each bread pocket into the egg mixture, making sure it is coated on all sides. Then coat it evenly with breadcrumbs. 6. Fry until golden. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the bread pockets in the pan and fry on both sides until golden brown and crispy. Avoid using high heat so the bread doesn’t burn before the cheese inside has melted. 7. Serve and enjoy! Transfer the cooked pockets to a paper towel to absorb any excess oil. Serve hot while the cheese is melted and gooey inside and the outside is wonderfully crispy. 😍 These crispy cheese and sausage bread pockets are perfect for a quick breakfast, an easy snack, or a delicious family treat! #SnackIdeas #EasyCooking #Foodie #RecipeIdeas #ComfortFood
