🚲 Meet the Riders! 🚲 Introducing Adam. “Throughout my life, two constants have shaped how I see the world: an endless fascination with the stories of the people and places I encounter, and a deep love for physical endurance - including spending long hours on a bicycle. Having spent years as a cyclist, including as a bike guide, I’ve learned that traveling at human scale on two wheels changes how you listen. When you slow down, you don’t just pass through a place—you feel its geography, notice its details, absorb its textures, and connect with the people who make it work. Too often, the story told about persistent-poverty communities across America is built on deficit narratives—focusing purely on hardship and statistics while overlooking the immense dignity, ingenuity, and social and environmental resilience alive on the ground. Through life and my work, I know firsthand that these communities are not waiting to be “saved.” They are hubs of local innovation—building affordable housing, launching small businesses, driving clean energy transitions, and anchoring vibrant grassroots community organizations. That is why I am thrilled to announce Where The Streets Have No Name Bicycle Tour, a true passion project I’m excited and humbled to be part of as a member of the ride team! 🚴‍♂️ Starting March 1, 2027, the team will be embarking on a 5,000-mile, 90-day cross-country journey from San Francisco, CA to Washington, DC across 7 distinct geographic stages. WSHNN operates on a simple but radical premise: Narrative is Infrastructure. By pairing long-distance cycling with embedded, ethical storytelling, we are setting out on a national listening tour to elevate the ground-truth stories of community leaders, housing champions, climate advocates, and local entrepreneurs who are actively building a more equitable future.” #bicycle #biketour #storytelling #5000miles #wtshnn
