His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director General, Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors, stated that the World Governments Summit has become a leading international platform that turns ambitious ideas into practical, actionable projects. During our participation in the Summit, we have built genuine strategic partnerships with leading global entities in the fields of transport and advanced technologies, that have led to the delivery of several innovative projects in Dubai. In the final quarter of this year, Dubai will witness the launch of the aerial taxi service, the result of partnerships and collaboration with two global companies: Joby Aviation and Skyports, this joint project was showcased at the World Governments Summit two years ago. HE also added that RTA will also begin operating autonomous taxi services in cooperation with Baidu, one of the companies with which opportunities for collaboration were explored during the World Governments Summit. During the Summit, guests will also have the opportunity to experience autonomous transport without safety driver along designated routes.
