@hha.agoura: BonBon deserves a chance to finally get it right💗🚨 At only a year old, BonBon (ID: #A5797150) came into the shelter as a stray and was initially pulled right away by her previous rescue. Just a few days later, she was reportedly adopted into a home where she was believed to be a good fit with other dogs. Unfortunately, after a serious incident involving another dog, she was returned to the shelter. Now, BonBon is running out of time 🚨🚨🚨 and we don’t want her story to end here. Let’s talk about the girl behind the headlines. BonBon is a sweet, playful, treat-motivated pup with so much potential. She loves to play fetch (and actually brings the ball back and drops it!), knows how to sit and lie down, and is eager to learn. She’s quick to respond to guidance, especially when treats are involved. Once she gets her excitement out, she’s a completely different kind of companion: calm, cuddly, happy to curl up for pets ❤️ BonBon needs someone willing to give her patience, consistency, structure, and activities to keep her mind engaged. She has so much to offer in the right environment. BonBon must be the only dog in the home. A home without other dogs is an absolute requirement for her placement. BonBon’s history is complicated, and we won’t minimize what happened. But she is more than the worst moment in her story. She deserves to be seen as an individual, with her needs understood and her future set up for success. We are looking for an experienced, committed adopter or rescue who can provide the calm, structured, loving, pet-free home she needs. BonBon is urgent. Please don’t let this sweet girl run out of time without being given the chance she deserves.
