When can you start to apply the silicone scar tape ? I have 2 week old incision have been told conflicting timelines - some say too soon will breakdown the incision - others say you can do it as soon as one week , as long as the incision is closed

time improves almost all scars, especially within the first years. If you do nothing else, waiting improves scars because the scar tissue remodels, collagen reorganizes, excess blood vessels become less noticeable and the scar gets flatter, less red and less apparent
