@lakevillagestudio: We have the freedom to imagine a thousand different lives, but we only get to experience one at a time. a time of endless possibilities is both a gift and a burden. Knowing that each choice contributes to the timeline of our lives can feel heavy. We can’t exist in two places at once. To choose one thing is, inevitably, to leave something else behind. We gain something, but we also lose something. Watching clay take shape on the wheel, I think about this. Every movement of my hands carries the weight of endless possibilities. This could become a vase, a lamp, or a mess. How do I decide what it should become? I close my eyes and trust myself. I let go of the need to know where I’m going and trust that somewhere between intention, instinct, and fate, I’ll find my way. #pottery #ceramics #wheelthrowing #clay #wheelthrown
